THERE was a veritable Golden Age of superheroes before and after World War II and one of the greatest was The SKYMAN, created by legendary comics creators Gardner Fox and Ogden Whitney. After battling criminals, Nazis, mad scientists and monsters, the Aerial Avenger went out of print in 1949… until ACE Comics publisher Ron Frantz acquired the rights from publisher Vince Sullivan and released The Return of the Skyman in 1987 by Mort Todd & Steve Ditko.

NOW as we honor the 75th Anniversary of SKYMAN's first appearance in BIG SHOT Comics #1 in 1940, ACE Comics is releasing a bunch of fun titles to celebrate! There's already The Return of the Skyman Pencil Portfolio that publishes comics legend Steve Ditko's original pencils alongside the finished inks... Now the story is appearing in color for the first time, serialized on the Pix-C Comics Website and for future publication.

SKYMAN in Outer Space collects the historic sci-fi epic superserial that ran in BIG SHOT from 1946 to 1948 by Ogden Whitney with new covers by Mort Todd. The near future will also see SKYMAN Battles the Master of Steam, a pulp novel by Brian K. Morris and lavishly illustrated by Martin Hirchak. More surprises are in store from ACE Comics, so keeped tuned for more details! Meanwhile, check out these current SKYMAN titles by clicking on the links below!
