Reality name: DR. NIXON NEMO
Background: A distant relative of the infamous Captain Nemo, Dr. Atlantis is obsessed with tracking down the missing culture and lost technology of Atlantis. As Dr. Nemo, he is the CEO of The Atlantis Corporation, the world’s most efficient organization for the procurement of hidden treasures and dealing with real-life oceanic problems, while combating those who would exploit global warming to nefarious ends.
Well known for his generous philanthropy, Dr. Nemo is the founder and leader of the underground organization known only as The Secret Society. Little is known publicly of this group of masked sentinels, who are dedicated to combating what they call “metaphysical menaces.”
Skills & abilities: Dr. Atlantis is highly skilled in all things aquatic: deep sea diving, fishing, marine biology, oceanography, Olympic diving, sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, surfing and water skiing. Nixon can actually breathe underwater for periods of up to one hour at a time due to human gills implanted by his friend and colleague MJ-13.
